# Patent & Trade Secret Notice — PhantomInfra

## Trade secrets

The following are treated as **confidential trade secrets** of the copyright holder when not published, and as proprietary know-how even when described at a high level in public docs:

- Speculative mutation execution with COW workspaces at the edge  
- Shadow / commit / compensate effect protocol for irreversible I/O  
- Combined Markov + surface-prior prediction and KV mesh learning  
- Policy gates requiring shadow for designated effect classes  
- Operational wiring of Workers + Durable Objects + predictor mesh  

Public whitepapers and demos describe the system sufficiently for evaluation without dedicating implementation detail required for a clean-room reimplementation.

## Patents

As of this notice:

- No patent application number is asserted in-repo.  
- The copyright holder **reserves all rights** to file provisional or non-provisional patents on novel aspects of the system.  
- Evaluation and commercial licenses do **not** include a patent grant unless expressly written into a signed agreement.  
- An acquisition assignment may include patent rights “as owned or thereafter filed by Assignor relating to PhantomInfra,” as negotiated.

## Defensive publication vs secrecy

Public demos and docs are intentional for go-to-market and diligence. They do not waive trade-secret claims over unpublished implementation details, private forks, or unreleased modules.

## Third-party IP

Buyers/licensees remain responsible for their own use of Cloudflare, Vercel, Node, and other platforms. See [NOTICE](../NOTICE).
